# Match Analysis — JobFoo's core tool

Match Analysis tells you — in under 60 seconds — whether a job is actually worth your time and exactly what's standing between you and an offer.

## What is Match Analysis?

Paste a job description. Optionally paste your resume. Match Analysis runs the combination through The Gates — System (ATS), Recruiter, and Manager — and returns:

- A **0–100 fit score** for each gate
- An **overall score** and **fit verdict** (Unicorn Fit → Lower Priority Target)
- Your **blind spot** — the #1 thing hurting your candidacy
- **Back Channel search strings** — boolean queries to find contacts at the company
- **Top fix** — the single highest-leverage thing to change before applying

## The Gates

Match Analysis runs three independent audits in sequence:

- **System (Gate 1):** ATS parsing, keyword coverage, structural integrity
- **Recruiter (Gate 2):** Narrative velocity — how quickly your story reads in a 6-second scan
- **Manager (Gate 3):** Evidence density — proof of execution and 90-day ROI signal

Each gate is scored 0–100 and weighted by hiring impact.
